Christi Gilliam
Founder, Project Manager & Lead Designer
When I was a little girl, my grandmother spent months building me a dollhouse. She imagined I'd fill it with dolls. Instead, I filled it with paint swatches. I rearranged furniture and redesigned every room until it felt like mine.
Since that first dollhouse, I have continued to create and change spaces. I've repainted every bedroom I've ever had more than once, and some more than a few times. I've flipped homes on the side and walked into empty rooms with no trouble imagining what they could become.
For twenty years I built a career as an IT Project Manager and oversaw jobs using strict timelines while juggling a multitude of details. But the other half of me was always longing to create: imagining living spaces that blend old with new, and giving forgotten pieces a second life.
Reviving Vintage Roots is where these two halves finally meet. It's my project management brain and my creative spirit working together at last. It is my belief that timing matters, and the experience I have held as a project manager has only strengthened my design and restoration jobs in seeing them through until completion.
My real passion is preserving, not simply replacing. Every home has a history, and it is my duty to honor it and give it a future.
